A CHAT WITH ChatGPT ABOUT THE HISTORY OF RACE

I’ve been using ChatGPT for a bit, and I’m getting comfortable with it. I felt I was ready for a difficult discussion with the new AI chatbot, and decided to capture it verbatim and share it. All of the questions are mine. All of the responses are ChatGPT. I didn’t bother using quotation marks, just because.

The discussion is unedited, other than the added names of the two participants, Rob and ChatGPT, and a screenshot showing when she crashed because my question was poorly written or there was a GPT logic problem such as irreconcilable data, or both, or something else. I corrected a few of my spelling errors in my own questions, but no substance was harmed.

Catching ChatGPT in errors isn’t always easy. However, when she does get caught flat out, she will admit it and back off. ChatGPT also claims not to have personal opinions, which is technically correct. But she will not recognize the bias in her source materials, and will double down when she has sources that are authoritative for her purposes of satisfying queries.

COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER: ChatGPT does not respect copyrights, and it does not cite sources unless specifically asked. Please note that the responses to my questions are unedited query responses from ChatGPT, none of which do I claim to be my original writing.
