First and foremost, welcome to the inaugural launch of the Sociological Safety® Insider (SSI) Thought Letter.

A tidal wave of news is available to us from any direction in which we may turn. So SSI isn’t a newsletter. No one needs another newsletter. It will be more of a letter from me to you, sharing, evoking, and provoking thoughts on a range of matters related to human interaction. I’ll always try to respond quickly to any questions you might have after reading it.

SSI Thought Letter isn’t intended to be a vehicle for preaching to the choir. Nor is it designed to conscript anyone into service or proselytize. The hope is simply to inform and to get readers to “retune” their thinking about phenomena we’re seeing in the sociological sphere and stratum of life, think about them differently, see and hear them differently than we have, and test them with fresh eyes.

In this inaugural issue, we’ll start by visiting an ancient pyramid to retune the way we see it.
