Well, almost David. I didn’t say that CEO was the only one with the issue. Mental illness, anxiety, depression, personality disorders affect many workers, not just that one CEO. They’re just not treated as disabled, teams overlook the issue (which is also not right) because the money is still rolling in. There is a great deal of evidence that many workers, including senior executives, are affected by similar disorders. My point was that while mental illness may be a disorder, it is not necessarily a disability that inhibits performance. The link to the CDC report on the same matter is also an example of an entire sector in which mental, emotional, and psychological disorders are common, if not statistically higher than the norm, but they work is still getting done. That was the point, David. Farmers, according to the current administration, are classified as “managers.”
